The 2008 gas-price surge lasted about nine months. If the current surge follows that pattern, that would take it to the beginning of 2012—and some think it may go significantly longer. If voters continue to “fuel” the pain at the pumps, the president will feel their pain at the polls.As Rush noted the other day, all those high price of gas signs across the country are a daily reminder (even to EPA employees) to Americans that this president has no good answer on this prime issue...nor is he priming the pump for jobs.
