Let's Hear it for Capitalism in the Curriculum

Joe Kernen, CNBC Squawk Box co-anchor and dad, has stepped up to deliver some much needed lemonade stand lessons for the classroom. All too often teachers inject their uninformed personal political opinions into every day lessons. When it comes to capitalism that's a problem. Capitalism and freedom go hand in hand. These days and every day it's essential for the future of this country, because only the growth of grown up creative, hard-working kids will get us out of these big government doldrums.

And we could always use a few more billion dollar babies--nurture that, not quash it in the cradle.

Questioning questionable assumptions is critical to learning. Let that school bell ring for American liberty.

Well, my youngest was a Rush baby--she listened along with her lunch. At the age of 4 someone asked her what she wanted to do when she grew up--she said she wanted to be president so she could "cut the taxes".
