Vet those Charity Drop Boxes

In my view The Salvation Army is the most responsive to disasters and most present in the city, so I go with them.

In the last year or two there's been a box to donate books in the parking lot of the local grocery store, very useful as we downsize and switch to ebooks. I'll have to check out the fine print there but I would think there's not much chance of a scam.
