Lincoln-Douglas style. Collegial and illuminating on entitlements--and leadership. Lombardi gets a nod:) And some good zingers directed at The One.
Roll tape on C-span.
P.S. In case you missed it, the Perry plan to prosperity.
P.P.S. This.

I am fortunate to live a few miles from the debate venue, and had the privilege of attending last night. I think this format should be followed for all debates - there was time to explain the problem and propose solutions, not just quickly spout a few shopworn phrases to fit into a wrinkle in time.
And, as an added bonus, neither candidate felt the need to attack the other. We learned something last night.
Who knows? If the time pressure was relieved by using this format, even Rick Perry might have time to flesh out an idea and show that he's really not a total doof.
Cain and Gingrich did well for themselves, IMHO.
Yes. Great feedback, thanks so much.
I saw a clip of Perry in Iowa recently--mostly on energy. He was excellent. Will try to remember to post that. Have been kind of offline this last week, mostly tweets.
Texas is making a real contribution in so many ways to the GOP, tea party debate.
Thank YOU
I slept well last night with the knowledge that we had at least two adults running for president.
I've thought for some time a Cain/Gingrich ticket would "be the ticket."
A very impressive pair
They really complement each other
