The latest Rasmussen poll of the Illinois governor's race has the GOP candidates clustered together, with just a 7 point spread between them, though all still are behind Blagojevich, the Democrat incumbent.
I continue to like Bill Brady. I think he is the best candidate for the future of the GOP. Strong on tax relief and job growth.

In another development for the race, state Sen. James Meeks (D-Chicago), also an ordained minister, is threatening a 3rd party candidacy to push for higher taxes for public education. In the Daily Southtown, via Capital Fax Blog.
