Log Cabin Republicans: Remove Farrakhan Advisor

Via Capital Fax, the Log Cabin Republicans of Chicago issue a statement calling for the removal of Farrakhan's advisory from the Illinois Hate Crime Commission:

"Blagovich is wrong and he needs to be held accountable," said Erik Linell, LCR-Chicago chapter president. "He expects the LGBT vote and then makes such an insulting appointment. You can bet no Republican governor would ever get a free pass if they made an appointment of this nature. It makes a mockery of the fight against hatred and intolerance in Illinois."

The Chicago Tribune also editorializes today that the governor must ask Sister Muhammad to disavow the anti-Semitic and hateful remarks of Farrakhan or resign the commission.
