Congressperson Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) joins 14 other Democrats in supporting a bill in the house that would cut off funds to US troops in Iraq. News of this, appropriately, from a publication to the left of the liberal San Francisco Chronicle.
Democrats are always bleating about not wanting another Vietnam and that they support the troops if not the war.
This action would undermine our troops and ensure defeat in Iraq, just as Congress' action of cutting off funds to our troops in Vietnam doomed that country.
