A Dubious Honor

Well Illinois has slipped a bit in the national Judicial Hellhole stakes (hat tip ResPublica), but Cook County has surged ahead of the two other downstate counties, Madison and St. Clair County. And the trial lawyers' association, one of the top Dem allies, is poised to roll back some hard-won reforms.

This most dubious honor added to Cook County's other leading distinction---that of being one of the most corrupt counties in America.
