Of course greenies think we should all eat organic food, but how to get those big corn yields to make ethanol to replace gas? VDH, RCP:

Modern high-tech farming is energy intensive. So recent huge price increases in diesel fuel and petroleum-based fertilizers and chemicals have been passed on to the consumer.

AWK. What to do?

Go nuclear. Come on greenies! As leftist icon-oclast Jerry Brown might say, Protect the Earth, Serve the People, Explore the Universe...of nuclear power.

And build refineries. After all, we don't want Jimmy Carter-style gas rationing and riots in the streets, do we Democrats, hmm?
