CAIR, along with the Islamic Society of North America, has been cited as an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas trial in Texas. Despite repeated opportunities, CAIR has refused to agree that Hamas is a terrorist organization.
Recently they attempted to sue individual concerned members of the public on an airline, who reported suspicious behavior to the authorities, in a clear and unprecedented attempt to intimidate them. Fortunately, despite the Democrats in Congress, this has been forestalled by passage of the John Doe amendment.
Now CAIR is attempting to stifle free speech in advance. And its lead lawyer?
