Too much excitement lately. I heard a huge crash and looked and saw sparks across the alley. Out of the blue, half a tree split off and downed a power line this morning. ( It's that brown bulk parallel and behind the wire fence.) Both my dogs were in the back yard, so I was very scared for a minute. (No obvious dog jokes in the comments, please.)We just got power back. Of course I took a few pix, through the window, since my line connection was right by my back door.
