McCain Would Still Vote Against Bush Tax Cuts

Amazing. Rich Lowry asked him 3 times, and 3 times he betrayed his bias against tax cuts which buys into liberals wanting to keep our money. Apparently his recent schooling on this issue only goes so far. Patrick Ruffini comments on the clip:

Real fiscal conservatives understand that tax relief is a good in and of itself, generating economic growth and keeping the government's grubby hands off more of our money. John McCain doesn't.

And McCain calls himself a conservative. Porkbusting yes. But if he hasn't learned his lesson on tax cuts, how can he even call himself a mainstream Republican, let alone a conservative on this preeminent party issue. So how can we trust John McCain?
