New Righties on the "Left Coast" Poll

A tsunami Tuesday state. New California poll, Field: Romney and McCain battling it out for first. Giuliani drops way back. Whither the Fredheads? Huge undecided.

UPDATE: Another Congressional endorsement for Mitt in Mississippi, Sen. Thad Cochran. Romney leads in delegates and in congressional endorsements (make that 37). (What does that say about McCain's pull among those in the party who know him best.)

UPDATE: Paul Campos, no conservative, on media bias against Mitt--McCain's the real flip-flopper:
(Indeed, I checked a computer database and discovered that, in the national media, Romney is at least six times more likely to be described as a flip-flopper than McCain.)

This does not merely ignore but actually inverts the truth. The fact is that no presidential candidate in either party has flip-flopped as egregiously as McCain on such a wide range of issues.

He points out a number of instances, some of course which conservatives regard favorably, but the point remains.
