South Carolina Road Sign

Road sign from redstate South Carolina. And recent comment from Republican Party Chairman Katon Dawson on Hillary’s visit to
Columbia:
“Senator Clinton’s run-of-the-mill Democrat rhetoric isn’t winning her friends in our state. If she manages to win her party’s nomination for president, she’ll follow in the footsteps of history’s forgettable footnotes like Walter Mondale, Mike Dukakis and John Kerry to landslide defeat in South Carolina.”
UPDATE: The Caucus on the Hillary-Tyra Show, which will air Friday, the day before the South Carolina primary:

According to the excerpts sent out by the Clinton campaign, the women talked about Mrs. Clinton’s choking up in New Hampshire.

“This woman said, ‘Well, how do you get up in the morning?’ It just struck me, how do any of us get up in the morning?” Mrs. Clinton recounted. “How do we keep it together, how do we do what we have to do, and there was such a moment where it wasn’t sort of me on one side of the table running for office and everybody else out there.”

On what to call former President Bill Clinton if she is elected, Mrs. Clinton ruled out “first mate” and “first laddie,” and proposed a reality show to come up with a substitute.

How about ex...president. RCP Blog on the Demzzz debate last night, which impacts both South Carolina and Nevada's Saturday contests.
