Mitt has rolled up his sleeves. Getting the job done for the people of America.
UPDATE: Jason in Michigan. It was a good night.
Jay Cost:
On the Romney results:Romney's victory last night was decisive. Let's dig into the exit poll results a little bit to see how he pulled it off. They tell quite a tale. First off, Romney won in Michigan the same basic groups he won in New Hampshire. The difference was that he won them by wider margins.Everyone loves a winner, WaPo (eat your hearts out MSM)
UPDATE: Michigan wrap-up:
Huckabee, a former Arkansas governor and ordained Baptist preacher, had depended on a combination of economic populism and religious conservatism. He aired television ads in the final week of the campaign, appealing to voters who wanted a president like "the guy they work with, not the guy who laid them off."
But exit polls showed him in a relatively distant third. And tellingly, evangelical Christians did not give him the same boost in Michigan as they did in Iowa: Those voters made up about a third of the GOP vote, but Romney and Huckabee got nearly equal support from them.
Good night, God bless. (And God Bless America:)
