Do You Care Melissa?

On January 28th Rep. Melissa Bean (D-8th) signed a letter with 21 other Democrats urging Nancy Pelosi to move the bipartisan FISA legislation forward.

This legislation is urgently needed to protect us from terrorist threats, but the trial lawyers lobby is apparently more important.

Melissa Bean has been unwilling to actually sign a discharge petition, which would bring this matter to the floor of the House without Nancy Pelosi's consent.

Bean talks a good game, but fails to act. Maybe she's too busy hanging around with ultra-liberal Barack Obama. Please call Melissa Bean and urge her to sign the discharge petition on H.R. 5440.
