My RedSkirt site switches from an online magazine to a blog format, BoomerGirl Diary. They're tossing out AP (yeah!) and we will be posting more often. I will crosslink in future, put up the PTA post today.
In her most recent post, Blue Skirt thinks conservatives respond to dog whistles, while making her choice for president based on fossilized liberal identity politics. As a dog-lover, I am of course intensely offended.
Seriously, though, on her major issue, I do think it is time aging feminists, who are beyond childbirth themselves, think about what abortion really means, now that we can see into the womb. And around the world, it is overwhelmingly girls who are aborted first. Barack Obama offers nothing new here. There is no hope for those whose innocent life is snuffed out.
