Dick Durbin, Partisan Hack

As many Americans reel from record gas prices, terrible flooding in Illinois and Iowa, and mortgage pain, Democrat "leader" Dick Durbin, fresh from demonizing job-creators in his own state, the number 2 Democrat in the Senate knows what's important. Roll Call:
Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said Democrats do not have a stated policy on not working with endangered Republicans, but he allowed, “In fairness, we understand what’s at stake here, and that’s the majority in the Senate".
Was this in response to a question on Democrats' campaigns around the country? No, it had to do with Medicare and providing health care:
Sen. Gordon Smith (R-Ore.) said this week that Senate Finance Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont.) rejected his offer to negotiate on a bill intended to prevent a pay cut for doctors who treat Medicare patients.
This is not the first time senior Democrats have displayed crass political calculation, playing politics with the lives of Americans.

Is there a better illustration of the Do-Nothing Democrat Congress? They would rather have a campaign issue than solve problems. Go back to 2006 on gas prices. All we get from the Dems is useless mumbo jumbo. And is this defensible--actually cutting the pay of skilled caregivers?

Apparently Dem Senators are too caught up with their trappings of power and VIP perks to care about every day concerns in the rest of the country.

Dick Durbin, Partisan Hack. You have a choice Illinois--vote for real change, real solutions.
