The Rezko-Obama Roll

The Rezko jury locked on one count. Tribune--speculation is that they will reach a decision soon on all counts. Daily Herald recaps:

Rezko, however, reaches well beyond the governor.

Since the early 1990s, the Syrian-born, U.S. citizen has been a key fundraiser for both Chicago and Cook County politicians as well as a close friend to U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, the Democratic presidential front runner.

Obama has acknowledged Rezko helped raise about $250,000 for his state senate and U.S. Senate campaigns. And Illinois' junior senator hasn't been able to shake suspicions over Rezko's roll in Obama's purchase of a Hyde Park home.

Role, roll. Barack Obama, rockin and rollin' with Tony:)

P.S. Don't know if this Michelle rumor is true, given Hillary's friend Larry Johnson, No Quarter, keeps peddling it, blaming it on (eeeevil) Republican sources. (No Hillary supporters at TUCC?) No scorned women? But this part is interesting, vis-a-via Rezko and Farrakhan, another link in Barack's Axis of Evil:

In probing those matters we begin to understand that the Nation of Islam has been a critical component of Barack Obama’s base of support. And, I am told, Louis Farrakhan has been careful to use Tony Rezko as the intermediary in his relationship with Barack. This is not guilt by association, this is guilt because of actual relationship. Farrakhan, Wright, and Pfleger are each on tape in various settings spewing the most vile racists garbage in the guise of preaching. Barack Obama, up to this point, has tried to pretend he had no idea that these men had these thoughts or said these things.
And let's not forget Leftie Acorn. Hillary's supporters are now referring to Barack as a socialist, and worse.

UPDATE: NY Times at TUCC, "A Battered Feeling at Obama's Church". More roles, quoting the new pastor, the Rev. Otis Moss:
“There is a play,” Mr. Moss continued, “that has been written by two playwrights by the name of Jim and Jane Crow. Every decade, they attempt to pass this script to our community and ask us to play roles they have written for us. The name of the play is simply called ‘Divide and Conquer.’ We reject the spirit of negativity. We reject any lines drawn in the sand.”
Well, I'm feeling battered, how about you.
