Seals Slips Again

The mystery of the envelope passed to Dan Seals at his presumed good government class at Northwestern by ex-felon and former Dem Congressman Rostenkowski has been finally cleared up after two weeks of silence. Yes it was a campaign donation. Team America has the details. And Randy Blaser of Pioneer Press has a blog, wherein he displays his partisan hackery for all to see. Wonder why there's usually no real news in the PP? One reader, who commented, sets him straight:
I must admit I am astonished that you see nothing wrong with a "guest speaker" handing an envelope with a campaign contribution to a congressional candidate teaching a night class at a prestigious university like Northwestern. And further, that this candidate would have an entourage of speakers including Abner Mikva, Melissa Bean in addition to Dan Rostenkowski. Have you taken into consideration the feelings of the students enrolled in a class (which they pay for) and then subjected to the viewpoints of one political party and witness to a campaign contribution to the lecturer? I wonder if they are eligible to get their tuition back!
Who will Seals invite to lecture next--Dem Rep. Jan Schakowsky, wife of ex-felon Robert Creamer? (One spouse's donation that won't even finesse the issue.) Voters in the 10th would be making a big mistake to elect someone once again this clueless, to put it charitably. But let's not forget only recently he was less than forthcoming, shall we say. Seals slips again.

P.S. I think Rep. Melissa Bean should repudiate Dan Seals' slippery behavior, don't you? Let her know.
