Maybe this is why Barack Obama looked so PO'd at the Al Smith dinner last night, besides his lousy jokes--his common man mask was slipping. NY Post:While he was at a meeting at the Waldorf-Astoria at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Michelle Obama called room service and ordered lobster hors d'oeuvres, two whole steamed lobsters, Iranian caviar and champagne, a tipster told Page Six.Quite a spread. Iranian caviar. Go ahead and jeer at the Joe the plumber again, Barack--apparently spreading the wealth is for everyone else. Michelle's eating high on the hog--she's entitled you see. After all, Barack's going to be anointed--they have campaign cash to spare.
