Wallace for Senate Meets Heartland

Wallace Congratulates Heartland Institute at Their 25th Anniversary Celebration

(Chicago, IL) Eric Wallace, Republican candidate for US Senate seat in Illinois participated in the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Heartland Institute (www.hearlandinstitute.org) held last night at the downtown Chicago Hilton.

Dr. Wallace commented, “Congratulations to The Heartland Institute for 25 years of defending freedom, promoting individual responsibility, trumpeting free enterprise and advocating for limited government.” These are all principles consistent with the

L-I-F-T principles (click here) that I am promoting in my campaign for US Senate.

He added, “I appreciate that Heartland has recognized the importance of black conservatives such as Lee Walker (Senior Fellow at The Heartland Institute) and their role in developing and advocating some of the great free market ideas to solve the social and economic problems facing all Americans.”

The Heartland Institute is the publisher of Lee Walker’s book, “Rediscovering Black Conservatism.” The book demonstrates that conservatism is not a new phenomenon within black America, and that it is the source of powerful ideas that can be used to solve problems in our society.

Wallace concluded, “These principles are why I am running to be a US Senator from Illinois. To present true conservative and traditional ideas from the “heartland” of America that can solve our nation’s problems and represent the pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit of the people of Illinois. I invite the citizens of Illinois to join me by signing My Contract With The People of Illinois.”
