President Obama has some very sophisticated economic modelers working for him. I wonder if anyone will ask: What would the unemployment rate be now if the Bush tax cuts had been repealed on Jan 21 2009? Lets pretend the answer is 500.000 people would have lost their jobs? (Which I am told is in the ball park). Presumably then the NY Times would run the story Bush Tax Cuts Saved or Created Half a Million Jobs.
