Criminally Irresponsible Dems. Quinn, Durbin

We're supposedly going to sell Thomson at a loss while Gov. Quinn has been secretly releasing violent criminals with little time served due to prison overcrowding.

Inmates were awarded good-conduct time before ever displaying their behavior in prison.

Corrections Department spokeswoman Januari Smith says the new policy saves the agency money by not having to transfer inmates to other facilities to serve their terms.

So we're going to have more criminals on the streets and terrorists in an Illinois jail? For now. I'm sure the ACLU will fight to get them released too.
