One-Two Punch on Cap & Trade

Most Americans have heard little about the ClimateGate scandal, which emerged last fall when hacked or leaked emails from a British scientific research center charged with steering the UN global warming "consensus" revealed clear efforts to Hide the Decline of global temperatures, conflicting with their political mission to send us all back to the Unabomber's shack.

On top of that, we now find out that supposed evidence that glaciers were melting at a scary rate was based on hearsay--deliberately trumped up for political purposes, and financial gain. One of the American ClimateGate professor prime movers in the deception received stimulus money for some reason. And I just did a search on ClimateGate and turned up another evolution--AmazonGate. The rainforest numbers don't add up either. More political scientists at work.

Given the state of the economy, a recent Pew poll shows the issue ranks low with voters. Scott Brown's election in Massachusetts gives the GOP a 41st vote, making cap and trade most likely dead for this Dem run Congress and administration. Green jobs are not for real. We can't afford another phony stimulus program---this one based on phony science.

Cap & Trade is an issue in the Illinois GOP primary--as it should be. Just giving some perspective on why we need to be vigilant, but it might not be our top voting priority.
