Unreal. Does he think he's invisible or something? Carol over at Potluck calls it arrogance, and she has a point. This is outrageous, so blatant, so self-defeating.
I hope the reps take this up, though, it may be the final nail in the coffin of that healthcare monstrosity.
It's interesting, because Joe Sestak revealed this earlier offer of a federal job himself.
Even Democrats have to be appalled by this White House. Obama has clearly shown he doesn't care whether they're reelected or not--remember how callous he was with Sen. Blanche Lincoln-- and now they have to be careful he doesn't compromise them by associating them with corrupt practice.
You're right. I didn't even think of the Sestak offer. And didn't they lure the republican congressman out of NY23 so they could put a democrat in that seat? That's not exactly the same thing (or even close), but it does speak to a clear pattern of wheeling and dealing and manipulation of everything they can get their greedy little mitts on.
