That Jamie Gorelick. Serving in the clueless Clinton Justice Dept. prior to Sept. 11th, then on the 9/11 commission to cover up what Sandy Pants Berger couldn't. A top honcho at Fannie Mae raking in the big bucks massaging earnings:
Gorelick’s situation was similar. OFHEO found that she took home $26.46 million in the period from 1998 to 2002 (she left in that year, so she wasn’t there for the entire period under investigation). Of that figure, nearly $15 million came from EPS bonuses....before it went bust and taxpayers had to bail it out...and bail, and bail. Now she's the counsel for BP.
She's just such an invaluable DC Democrat. A real public servant.
