Chicago Gold Coast Jihadi Wannabe Indicted

A Gold Coast neighborhood man arrested last month for allegedly planning to travel to Somalia to fight for a foreign terrorist organization was indicted on Thursday.

Shaker Masri, 27, was formally charged with one count of attempting to provide material support to al-Shabaab, a designated foreign terrorist organization, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's office.

He was also indicted on one count of attempting to provide material support by use of a weapon of mass destruction outside the United States, the release said. Masri will be arraigned at a later date in U.S. District Court in Chicago.

He was arrested on Aug. 3 by the Chicago FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force just hours before he was scheduled to leave Chicago en route to Somalia, the release said. He has been held without bond at the Metropolitan Correctional Center since his arrest.

A lot of these creepos who have come to this country seem to be fairly well off but think they're unappreciated. They have this sense of entitlement.
