Government Rationing VA Care

We don't have to look overseas for examples of callous Big Government care. The latest Dem scare tactic backfires if you look at the reality. NRO:

If you listen to Democratic campaign ads in Colorado, Nevada, or Delaware, among other places, you will discover yet another perfidious plot by evil Republicans — they want to “privatize the VA.”

Which makes one respond, “This is a horrible thing because . . . why?”

Is government the only way? And what about individual choice?

Because funding decisions are determined through the political process rather than by patient preference, the money is often misallocated.
This is why Americans are so upset.

In our own lives we deal every day with limits on our time and budgets. We know we're mortal. But we don't want the government to hold our very lives in their hands.

And it is especially galling that our veterans, who have put their lives on the line for us, are being treated so shamefully.
