Daniels is blunt: "Can we agree that the arithmetic doesn't work? We're going to have higher and higher levels of debt."
He's right the Dems won't lead on this.
But Daniels could.
Midwestern states are turning red this year. Daniels' hails from here but is worldly wise-- the un-Obama.
