Geithner, Goolsbee and the Apple Polishers

Am blogging on my phone enroute to the Chicago TAX Day TEA Party. No, I am not driving.

What really annoys me about these Obama Administration Cassandras and their Dem chorus is all this warning darkly of the consequences of not raising the debt limit. Oh noooooo, what will the international markets think.

What are they, a bunch of apple polishers? Gee, did these guys get good grades in school or what? But what did they learn, hmm, mmm, mmm. Are we impressed?

What about the underlying fiscal fundamentals?

Yes, these elitist Dems who flagrantly evade their taxes, Eric effing Holder the latest, have the audacity to lecture the rest of us on financial responsibility.

All I have to say is it's Paul Ryan and the TEA Party who can see this future. But you don't even have to be able to do that. You can just look at what was once the proud cradle of democracy, now a failed socialist welfare state. Greece.

Plonk your porky "public servant" selves in a bathtub, Archimedes, and watch the river of reckless, self-serving spending and debt spill over and drown the country.

Fast forward a few centuries some fall and maybe an apple will hit you on the head.

The situation is grave. But we get no gravitas from The One and his toadying minions.
