Onion moves editorial staff to Chicago

Is this a signal of a serious shift in opinion of our Dear Leader O? (Are they depressed too?) Or maybe just NYC's high taxes and general misery:
The Huffington Post first reported news of the planned move, citing staffers, some of whom said they were “blindsided” by the decision. (They shouldn’t have been. In 2010, the Onion reported: “8.4 Million New Yorkers Suddenly Realize New York City A Horrible Place To Live.”)
Well, there's plenty of material in Chicago, but at least we put our obvious garbage in the alleys, not on the street.

P.S. ...failure is merely a natural byproduct of progress--ives

...missed opportunities and dim prospects
