Down but, unfortunately, not out.
A few stragglers have erected some ugly plastic tarp tents in our little downtown war memorial park.
Those are the first tents erected in that spot since its founding in the late 19th century, I do believe.
The authorities are just letting them stay there.
If anyone else pitched a tent there, they'd be kicked out in 10 minutes (maybe 5).
Well, that is really sad, isn't it.
Not your ordinary park. Perhaps some veterans will object.
