Ryan of Wisconsin. For America

They built the railroad from Chicago, and stayed. Some were there already. Hunters, fishermen, traders and lumberjacks, miners and cheesemakers, builders and inventors. Farmers. Dairymen.

America, vibrant and at work.

Some came to escape famine, some came to escape persecution, some came for adventure.

They all came for a better life, and for freedom.

So this morning, after hearing and cheering Paul Ryan's speech, I am deeply thankful.

We can do this.

We can save our country.

We owe it to America.
