Celebs Warned Away from Grant Park

I missed this earlier as it wasn't in the news but the entertainment section. Apparently celebs are being warned away from the Obamapalooza in Grant Park. The Barackstar doesn't want to be outshone. Sun Times:

While the Democratic nominee and his staff are thankful for both the big checks and outspoken expressions of support from all those famous faces, I've learned from a key Obama insider that a number of big-time boosters have been told politely -- but very firmly -- to stay away tonight.

Reportedly, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Sean ''Diddy'' Combs, Susan Sarandon, Tim Robbins and Ben Affleck are among those advised to skip the Chicago festivities and focus on attending the expected Obama inauguration in January.

''There really only needs to be one star in Grant Park, and that's Barack,''

Very telling The One doesn't want any competition. If they do show up, should he ask them to spread the wealth do you think?

P.S. I hear they require photo-ID to get in. That may leave out a few Obama voters.
