Today's Wilmette Life profiles the two. I like this stance the best, from Simon Ribeiro:
On education, Ribeiro said, "Our schools are going to be more and more obsolete if we don't reform education and I think Congress can play a key role ... (No Child Left Behind) is hollow if we don't address the main problem, which is the curriculum. It must reflect the working world," with more emphasis on mathematics and science. He opposes affirmative action, saying such policies should be based on income, not race. He also opposes ear-mark legislation, commonly used to bring money and projects to congressional districts.
Remember to vote on Tuesday, March 21st, at your regular polling place, or early at your village hall.
At the top of the ticket, I support Bill Brady for governor and Joe Birkett for Lt. Governor.
