Jeff Berkowitz on Congressman Mark Kirk's townhall meeting in Palatine township last night. Though I don't agree with Rep. Kirk on BP, I think it's sensationalized, he probably has calibrated it right for the 10th district.
On Iraq, I'll let you read Berkowitz quoting Kirk, but I imagine the measured success of the surge so far, acknowledged even by prominent Democrats, may forge a slightly more unified foreign policy approach across party lines.
