Rahmbo in Action

Illinois Rep. and Dem leader Rahmbo Emanuel, not content with surrendering our security at home, suggests our ally Israel surrender their security as well. Rahmbo---making the world safe for democracy. Rep. Emanuel writes a letter to Israel suggesting they should accept Sudanese refugees. I would just say, Israel gave them safe passage to Egypt, they did not send them back to Darfur.

Aside from that, Israel is a tiny country with major security issues on its borders. Does an open border policy make sense? I don't think so.

The Democrats are quick to express fine sentiments and shed crocodile tears over Darfur but they never actually want to do anything useful.

Comment from a Swamp reader on their post:
There is a civil war going on Darfur. You Loony Losers have been crying about a civil war in Iraq and so we should leave.
There is mass slaughter taking place in Darfur. But there also was slaughter in Iraq under Hussein, in which he tortured and killed as many as 1 million-plus of his own people. You want to stop the slaughter in Darfur, which I think is great and needs to be done, but you and your Loony Ilk apparently are OK with the slaughter in Iraq.
Iraq is/was a national security interest. There is little or no national security interest in Darfur.
You Loony Lefties cried about Iraq being "unilateral," yet that's exactly what you Loons want us to do in Sudan.
Who has been a roadblock to action in Sudan? France, China and Russia. Who's been trying to stop the slaughter? The U.S. and England.
