Caucus Countdown

Walked my last precinct in Iowa City this morning on a sunny, chilly day, tho it's warmed up to 20 degrees, plenty warm when you keep moving. This afternoon we made phone calls at the Johnson County HQ in a family doctor's family room. (At one point yesterday Steve had to rush off to deliver a baby.) We packed up the phones at 4:20, they'll go on the plane to NH with Governor Romney. A rush to swing into final gear to get people to the caucuses, but we took time for a few pictures. Katie, a local high school senior, was one of the first people I met working the phones Tuesday night.Coming down from Madison with her husband, while he walked precincts Shauna and baby were on the phone for Mitt.Stephanie from Dubuque, and Carrie from Geneva, IL, both students at the University of Iowa.Tim DeMuth, Johnson County Co-Chair, who cheerfully juggled the operation.Part of the Johnson County Team for Mitt. It's the countdown to the caucus. Go Mitt!!!

UPDATE: Catching up on some news from the day. Romney leads national polls for the first time, Rasmussen daily tracking.
