Gary, Indiana

Lake County, Indiana holding things up. Hmm. Right across the border from Illinois.

Michael Barone says it can charitably described as rough and ready politics at times.

UPDATE: Very high polarizing numbers which haven't been seen before, as far as voters claiming they won't vote for the other Dem candidate in the fall. Karl Rove mentions it on FoxNews, more at the Campaign Spot, cites Marc Ambinder, and also figures Obama's friends in Lake County are enjoying making Hillary sweat. Barone says if Obama wins it 60-40 he could win Indiana. Lots of absentee ballots. Ha.

UPDATE: Geez, Bob Beckel on FoxNews, a Dem guy OPENLY says Gary very suspect. Lots of absentee ballots come in late in the day itself--very suspicious--how many votes does Obama need.

UPDATE: More discussion, it would take a lot of votes out of Lake County to win for Obama. But no question it's not a good night for Hillary.

UPDATE: More discussion of the Wright effect. Hey guys--remember, the Rev. Wright is working on a book.

UPDATE: The Clinton campaign is MAD on the Gary hold-up, on CNN recalling Obama's objection to Michigan and Florida--Obama "shameless".

UPDATE: Hillary shows up, wearing blue. Hillary beating up on Barack, that he had called Indiana the tie-breaker. Supporters brandishing boxing gloves behind her. Bill up there red-faced. Red, white and blue.

Hillary and Barack are on the same journey--of a more perfect union, men and women working together,!!! the crowd chants yes we will. awk

Hillary says Barack outspends her massively, makes direct appeal for money

A special moment for her, born in Chicago

I can't take this any more.

UPDATE: 10:54 pm central. First results coming in from Lake County Indiana with huge percentage for Obama 70 some percent--question is where they are from and whether this will hold up for the whole county. He could win Indiana. My exit question--will he get more votes than they have registered voters?
