What's your excuse now, Jan?

Back at Ms. Schakowsky's town meeting a few months ago, when she was trolling for a few moderate votes to head off the Greenie challenge, I asked Ms. Schakowsky whether she was going to support the Colombian Free Trade Agreement. She said no, citing paramilitary actions against union members. (She said nothing about their actions against the FARC narco-terrorists.)

It didn't matter that President Uribe of Colombia had managed to bring incidents of illegal paramilitary activity way down, remarkable given the recent revelations that Colombia's neighbor Venezuela under Hugo Chavez was funding FARC.

Now Uribe has extradited those accused to face trial in the US. What's your excuse now Jan? And since you just had your "Power Lunch", how about you, Nancy Pelosi and maybe angry Michelle do something to make your country proud of you. How about a little sisterly solidarity for former Colombian presidential candidate Ingrid Betancourt, who is in poor health after being kidnapped and held by those FARC thugs for years. Or maybe Barack can ask Bill Ayers (scroll down) to exert his influence.
