ACORN Bullies Get Around

Senate Republicans on the Judiciary Committee ask for an investigation of ACORN's widespread, systematic voter registration fraud. We learn ACORN bullied their workers. It sounds like a sweatshop to me. NY Post:

Pushed to meet daily quotas and bullied by bosses if they didn't, Ohio ACORN workers faked voter registrations, signed up people more than once, and even paid off registrants to keep from being fired, its canvassers told The Post.

"Every day, there was pressure on us. Every single day," said Teshika Elder, a Cleveland single mom of three who worked for ACORN this summer.

"We had meetings every morning where they'd go over your quota; they'd yell at you if you were low," said Elder, 21. "They'd sit us down and say if you didn't do better, they'd suspend you. They'd say, 'Try harder next time,' [and] if you didn't get it, you'd be fired."

Andrew McCarthy on the latest Obamanation:
This is rich.

Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign is complaining to the Justice Department about the attention being focused on the determined effort by ACORN, Obama’s wholly owned vote-fraud division, to steal the 2008 election. Adding ignorance to gall, the campaign demands that what it calls a “Special Prosecutor” must investigate not ACORN but — you guessed it — the McCain campaign and the Bush administration.

The art form to which chutzpah has been raised in this instance is a letter from the Obama campaign’s top lawyer, Robert Bauer of the Perkins Coie law firm in Washington.
Read on. Clearly we are in new vote fraud territory, shameless even for the Democrats. The American Thinker--Kyle-Anne Shiver, "Stealing the Presidency: An Obama/ACORN primer", with reference to Saul Alinsky, who seems to come up with some regularity when speaking of Barack Obama and his friends. Rounding it off, Rick Moran weighs in on the Princess the Goldfish vote registration fraud caper, which is not ACORN but is all the more worrying. Lots of Obama bullies.

P.S. In case you don't read McCarthy's full piece, we can't emphasize this enough, over and over again:
What voters need to understand is that ACORN is a revolutionary Leftist organization. It was founded in 1970 by Wade Rathke, a former member of the SDS (Students for a Democratic Society) — the Communist organization from which Bill Ayers’ Weatherman terrorist group split off in the late Sixties. It is adherent to the radical principles of Saul Alinsky, of whom Obama is a disciple — in fact, he authored a chapter in an anthology called After Alinsky: Community Organizing in Illinois.
UPDATE: Stanley Kurtz has another piece, this time on The New Party. Pay attention Tribune if you can...(no we can't.) The Sun Times we have no hope for.
