William J. Kelly statement after Chicago Tonight debate

A real reform Republican candidate for Comptroller. Is this a game-changer? Check out the video.

Dodge doesn't even try to explain his contributions to Topinka and Democrats.

And Topinka ducks the debate--I guess she just thinks she's entitled to the job.

Kelly:
But a Kelly comptroller’s office would finally be the taxpayer’s ace in the hole.

Unlike my two RINO opponents, I would open up Illinois’ contracting bidding process to full disclosure. I would put the process online and enable small businesses to participate – a process that has been, up until now, just for the insiders. Small businesses always do a better job. They are more efficient and can save the taxpayers money – that is particularly important now more than ever with Illinois on the brink of insolvency.

Kelly may be unorthodox but he persistently asks the honest questions we want answered--and has been asking them for years as a committed conservative. He's made a successful and award-winning career in the private sector as a small businessman, not as a politician. He's a private citizen deciding to run for public office at a critical time for our state. This is the respect for the people's purse we need now from someone who hasn't made a career of feeding at the public trough.

It's the we the people governance our founders envisioned.

Kelly for Comptroller.

P.S. Let's not forget this scandal in the current Dem comptroller's office (who is running for governor.) Hacks and crooks.
