Alexi Giannoulias and his family's Broadway Bank bankrolled Barack Obama in his quest to win the Illinois Senate seat. Barack returned the favor by endorsing boy banker Alexi as state Treasurer, which was enough to put him over the top. Beyond the Barack loan, Alexi's client list included mobster Jaws Giorango, and convicted felon--Blago and Obama's money man both--Tony Rezko.
A lot of these Broadway Bank loans are losers. So is Alexi Giannoulias on coming clean with Illinois voters. His Sun Times statements are laughable.
Bad judgment, bad faith, bad candidate.
