A Fool of Conventional Wisdom

Former Tribune bigwig (right on) is heard from again. Ah yes he consults on urban affairs.

He was enamored of the murderous Che back in the day.

Now he takes some birther's phone call as evidence of tea party lunacy. Please.

And compounds it by attributing the leftie loonie Cessna-suicide-flyer to the right. Or misrepresents the sting by O'Keefe to Dem Sen. Mary Landrieu, who had turned her phones off so she wouldn't have to take calls from her constituents. I would add there is no evidence of racist epithets being shouted at black congressmen at the tea party rally on the day the health care bill was shoved through.

We recently had the Tribune's Eric Zorn similarly make poorly sourced assertions.

And this is why many Americans have no respect for the fools of the "mainstream" media, which is mainstream no more.
