Look to Louisiana

Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana introduces his timely book, Leadership and Crisis.

He may not be hell on wheels with a teleprompter, but the Bayou Boy Wonder has proven himself as Republican governor of a state that suffered under Dem rule for a century, handling the Gulf crisis in spite of the Obama administration's bungling and intransigence.

Thankfully the damage to wildlife was not as great as feared--but the lingering effects on the Gulf economy--and the American way of life are still serious.
