$1.2 Million Deficit Over State IOU's. Reader reaction:
According to The Patch, Wilmette is running a $1.2 M deficit because they spend money the state was supposed to supply. How stupid! Oh, wait. They also bought the Ford property with borrowed money. I think it is time the Board starts to cut staff. And "services" like blood pressure checks.But be judicious in making yourselves heard: Car smashes through wall at Wilmette library
Or perhaps this is the village demolition plan to open up the area around the Ford property. How much will that cost us.
