The Bully on his leftist pulpit

Our phony baloney smiley-face president tried to outshine Honest Abe Lincoln on his last run for president. Having run through the JFK Camelot persona, tarnished the LBJ civil rights halo, verging on the Jimmy Carter crater, our President Barack Obama adopts the Teddy Bear "fair shake" in Osawatomie, Kansas.

Really?  So it was a fair shake that animated his relationship with Bill Ayers. That's why he put politics above real learning for kids. It was a fair shake that motivated his home ownership with a big assist from the felonious pay to play Tony Rezko. It was a fair shake that prompted ObamaCare.

It was a fair shake to give auto unions a sweetheart deal and deprive retired Indiana schoolteachers of their investment income. It was a fair shake to use taxpayer dollars to reward big campaign contributors and plow billions into failed green schemes.

It was a fair shake that pushed our President Barack Obama to bow to unelected dictators overseas, over and over again, even as he refers to Americans as soft and lazy.

Oh yeah, in the interests of fairness this president is departing on a 17 day vacation to Hawaii, with a campaign stop along the way, even as millions of Americans have dropped out of the workforce, discouraged.

Teddy had the bully pulpit, but this president is just a bully. From a failed state.

P.S. The difference is that in 1910 government spending amounted to about 8 percent percent of GDP. A century later it comes to around 40 percent. The country today has too much state, not too little.

P.P.S.

If the President wishes to channel T.R., why doesn't he repeat these classic lines uttered by the Rough Rider?
Epic fail, Barry.

"Every immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or leave the country."

“In this country we have no place for hyphenated Americans."

"We should encourage rifle practice among schoolboys, and indeed among all classes, as well as in the military services by every means in our power. Thus, and not otherwise, may we be able to assist in preserving peace in the world..."

"The teachings of the Bible are so interwoven and entwined with our whole civic and social life that it would be literally impossible for us to figure to ourselves what that life would be if these teaching were removed.”
