All (about ME) Obama

All Obama all the time. Hillary supporters circulate a "damaging" photo of the Big O in multiculti garb. (Some humor on that here.) Louis Farrakhan on His Hopeness at this year's Savior's Day speech. (earlier dubious stuff here.) The NY Sun on Obama's moral relativism displayed by his meet the dictators approach to foreign policy, and sets the record straight on what the current administration has been doing:

On Friday, the U.N. Security Council is expected to impose a third round of mild sanctions on Iran for its refusal to suspend uranium enrichment, a small but hard-fought victory for the Bush administration's brand of multilateralism, which is real, despite the cartoonish portrayals, as are direct American negotiations with Iran.

A former American ambassador to Baghdad, Zalmay Khalilzad, helped establish the current policy, which allowed him and his successor, Ryan Crocker, to speak with Iranian officials about security-related issues in Iraq. This policy may have contributed to the Shiite militia leader Moqtada al-Sadr's decision last week to extend for six months his moratorium on attacks against American and Iraqi troops.

Recall Obama the Peacenik. And talk about elitist--where's Obama's compassion for those being oppressed by dictators in Iran, Cuba and North Korea, hmm?

WaPo on Barack's top flip-flops (and Hillary's). Human Events with a piece picking up on Barack's interesting political friends. Bill Kristol on the moral vanity of Obama (and Michelle):

Leave aside the claim that “speaking out on issues” constitutes true patriotism. What’s striking is that Obama couldn’t resist a grandiose explanation. Obama’s unnecessary and imprudent statement impugns the sincerity or intelligence of those vulgar sorts who still choose to wear a flag pin. But moral vanity prevailed. He wanted to explain that he was too good — too patriotic! — to wear a flag pin on his chest.
And yes, as Kristol recognizes:
Obama likes to say, “we are the change that we seek” and “we are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” Obama’s rhetorical skill makes his candidacy appear almost collective rather than individual. That’s a democratic courtesy on his part, and one flattering to his followers. But the effectual truth of what Obama is saying is that he is the one we’ve been waiting for.
There's a comparison to JFK and it's not flattering. David Axelrod, Obama's campaign guru, in the NY Times last April:
But I think that in a sense Barack is the personification of his own message for this country, that we get past the things that divide us and focus on the things that unite us. He is his own vision.”

The Obama cult campaign is feel good liberalism evolved to its ultimate narcissism.
