Chicago's Subway Series

I happened to pass by Hillary's hometown yesterday, suburban Park Ridge, and snapped this. The Tribune today has a front page story, "State beams over hometown favorites" bottom Left. I'm sure Obama's friends and neighbors will continue to get play as well. My friend Bill Baar is all over Obama, and John Ruberry as well. My earlier posts here, here and here.

We are where we are-- John Kass, Chicago Tribune, with his take, and this precious bit on Barack Obama's homecoming parade to cast his vote:
It was Barack Obama, the so-called Princess Diana of America's celebrity politics, or, as I prefer to call him, the media's beloved and gentle Mr. Tumnus of the presidential campaign. Either way, he's the Tom Brady of mainstream editorial board man-crushes.
Kass has a little kicker at the end for Dems.

UPDATE: Tribune, "Clinton, Obama battle it out", ending with this: "
You don't want to have a divided convention,'' said Dean, citing divided conventions in the past that resulted in losing elections for the party. "I think the voters will choose a nominee… Then we'll resolve some of these other difficulties.''
Nope, it'll be the party regulars who decide, the super delegates at the convention. Those core McGoverning Dems.
